NOBODY'S PERFECT - What a (medical) waste

WHEN I WAS a little girl, I thought the invention of the facial tissue was one of the best advancements ever! It was much more sanitary to cover my cough or sneeze using a soft piece of a disposable tissue than to use cloth handkerchiefs, which had to be laundered and reused. Ick!

A WALK IN THE PARK—Nothing but rocks

I WORKED WITH A FELLOW who had spent part of his career in Utah. Said he was really happy to be back in the Midwest where everything is green. “Utah is nothing but rocks,” he said. Yes, I thought, but that’s like saying a beach is nothing but sand or Giant Sequoias are nothing but trees.
