What makes people want to give?
Many times it is a personal reason, such as a cancer diagnosis, that inspires individuals to donate. Other times it is a connection to our mission of providing the full complement of support so that no one goes through cancer alone. “We are so pleased to have the opportunity to support such a meaningful cause,” stated one company Director. One of our individual donors has been giving for the past six years because we took care of his dear friend at the end of her life. One local couple just donated $10,000 because their granddaughter was recently diagnosed with cancer. “We now understand firsthand what it is like for these families and what they are going through, so we want to help,” they said.
