COURAGEOUS ACRES 2021 “Wild about Camp,” offered through Courageous Community Services (CCS), is an inclusive summer day camp that is ready to have camp make a comeback.
Parents and caregivers can have a break from the extra responsibilities they’ve been carrying, children can have the summer camp experience they’ve been missing, and camp counselors and staff at CCS are ready to make that happen.
Day camps are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp themes and dates are: On a Safari (ages 5-8), June 7-11; Under the Sea (ages 9-13), June 14-18; and Where the Wild Things Are (ages 14-21), June 21-25.
Located in Whitehouse, CCS embraces diversity, equity and inclusion through outreach efforts as well as the camp activities.
The day camp program is designed to be a fun and memorable experience for campers with and without disabilities.
Children of all backgrounds are encouraged to participate in the full camp experience.
Other camping options are available.
