WHENYOU ORAFAMILYMEMBER needs mental-health or substance- use-disorder services, it can be a daunting task to determine who to call, if there’s an office nearby, and if you are making the right choices. In addition, you may worry if you can afford the help.
OhioGuidestone’s new Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) is a new option for those who live in the Four County area of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties. CCBHC will provide a comprehensive array of behavioral-health services to all in the Four County area, regardless of ability to pay.
CCBHC provides a comprehensive array of behavioral-health services to support those who need assistance navigating behavioral and physical health care. OhioGuidestone-trained professionals will do this for you, taking the guesswork out of the process.
“We piece it together for you,” said Christine McVay, OhioGuidestone’s director of the Four County region. “We understandhowconfusingandtedious it can be to keep track of appointments especially when you are in a vulnerable state and need help right away.”
CCBHCs are uniquely positioned to serve as the cornerstone of Ohio’s push to integrate mental and physical health into a whole-body approach and to remove the stigma and increase the availability surrounding mental-health services.
A key component of the CCBHC is access to 24/7 crisis services available for all who need mental-health assistance immediately. Our crisis assessors will connect all clients to a care coordinator to assist with follow- up care and linkage, while also ensuring basic needs are met.
CCBHC can also be initiated for those who are involved in outpatient services in all our Four County offices.
