LUCAS SWCD will offer community members the opportunity to be creative and learn about welcoming wildlife to their space through ”Toadally” Awesome Abodes: Paint and Learn class on Thursday, June 25, at the office, from 4 to approximately 5:30 p.m.
The class is tailored to children in grades K-5, and a parent or guardian must stay for the duration of the class. During this hands-on class, participants will learn about the differences between reptiles and amphibians, and also which ones they can find in their own backyard or park.
They will get to meet the SWCD office turtles, Dottie and Kit, and make a “Toad Abode” to take home.
