Wood County Park District’s first farm breakfast of the year will be Sunday, February 8, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Otsego Park, Thompson Stone Hall, 20000 West River Road (S.R. 65), Bowling Green. Residents are invited to enjoy pancakes, bacon, sausage, fresh pear butter and other treats raised or grown on the Carter Historic Farm. A breakfast buffet will be available until it is gone in a first-come, first-served format. Breakfasts also are planned for March 8 and April 12. About the farm: Carter Historic Farm is a 1930s Depression Era Living History Farm. It is located just east of Bowling Green at 18331 Carter Road, Bowling Green. The grounds are open every day, however, the historic farm house, one-room Zimmerman Schoolhouse, and barns are open with staff available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
