GRIEF HAS AWAY OF CONVINCING US that something is “wrong” with us, when often, what we’re experiencing is a normal response to a hard situation.
The same is true for many mental health struggles. Not every painful emotion needs to be fixed or eliminated; sometimes it needs to be understood, named and met with compassion.
Healing often begins not with changing how we feel, but with allowing ourselves to feel it without judgment or suppression.
